Chrome Plater(s)

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Perform electroplating operations to surface parts and materials with hexavalent chromium
  • Develop setups for electroplating operations in which processing time, voltage amperage and block-offs
  • Maintain chemical strength and proper level of solution in tanks as specified
  • Select processing time, voltage and amperage by calculating surface area to be plated
  • Select electrodes and determine spacing of parts in tanks
  • Check parts for cleanliness and proper surface
  • Test plating to determine adherence, thickness, quality, surface coverage, and specified buildup
  • Ensure that procedures relating to job safety and process control are followed
  • Meet productivity expectations
  • Adhere to Quality standards

**Previous experience reading blueprints and micrometers would be a plus**

Must be able to train on first shift, and then move to a permanent 2nd shift spot (Mon-Thurs 3:00pm to 12:00am, Fri 2:00pm to 6:00pm) plus weekend rotation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following;

Machinist/OD Grinder Operator

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerance using knowledge of mathematics
  • Reading micrometers and calipers
  • Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes and grinders
  • Set up, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized advanced variation tools.

Requirements:

  • MUST be mechanically inclined
  • Previous grinder/machinist experience a plus
  • Previous knowledge of running a machine
  • Previous experience in a machine shop a plus
  • Stand on your feet for 8 or more hours at a time
  • Frequently required to lift and/or more 50 pounds & occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unites of measure
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints & micrometers is a MUST
  • Must be able to work a weekend rotation
  • Must be able to work overtime if needed
  • Must be able to train on a 1st shift and move to 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs 3:00pm – 1:00am plus rotating weekends)

Industrial Polisher

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Operates polishing equipment to obtain desired polish on parts and products
  • Grind, Sand, Clean or polish objects or parts to correct defects
  • Prepare surfaces for further finishing
  • Move controls to adjust, start or stop equipment during grinding and polishing
  • Use of hand tools/hand help power tools
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • MUST be mechanically inclined
  • Knowledge of running a manual lathe a plus
  • Stand on your feet for 8 or more hours at a time
  • Frequently required to lift and/or more 50 pounds & occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unites of measure
  • Ability to read, write & speak the English language
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints & micrometers would be helpful

This is a full time 2nd shift position. Monday-Thursday 3:00pm to 12:00am, Friday 2:00pm to 6:00pm plus rotating weekends (day shift) must be able to train on a first shift.
